Academy Governance Committee
In addition to attending full Governance Committee meetings, all Governors sit on one of two sub-committees and also hold specialist areas of responsibility.
All Governors are voluntary and are expected to be able to contribute fully to the efficient and effective running of the Academy. As such, all have particular experience or skills which enable them to do this effectively.
The Academy Governors also act as the admissions authority for the Academy in place of the Local Authority who perform this role for maintained schools.
