Using search engines to research various topics, using Microsoft PowerPoint and Publisher to present this research.
Creativity
Music:
Inspiring Music (Central Bedfordshire's provider of instrumental music services) will be delivering weekly workshops to each class using Djembe drums.
Art - Natural Materials:
Introduction to pottery, focusing on shape and pattern, as well as experimenting with chalk, charcoal and natural dyes.
Design Technology - Healthy Snacks:
Gaining knowledge on how fruit and vegetables grow and their classifications, leading to making some healthy snacks.

Reading:
Continue to explore a range of extracts from popular fiction, non-fiction and poetry texts to focus on; vocabulary, inference, prediction, explanation, retrieval and summarising.

Colours, days of the week, months, additional classroom instructions, Easter.
Geography
Europe:
Look at the geographical differences between European countries and cities, to create a case file about one; focusing on weather and climate, currencies and languages.
History
Stone Age to Iron Age:
Working chronologically from the Paleolithic period to just before the Roman Invasion of Britain, learning about early tools, agriculture, homes and weapons.
In-depth look at Skara Brae and Stonehenge.
Maths
Multiplication and Division:
Exploring commutative law and multiplication and division facts, inverse, using place value to multiply and divide larger numbers.
Time:
Learning to tell the time to 5 minute intervals (digital and analogue, 24 and 12 hour)
Fractions:
Adding and subtracting fractions, introduction to improper fractions and mixed numbers, finding common denominators and equivalent fractions.
PE
Outdoor Adventure Activities:
Teamwork, problem-solving, map skills and instructions in a physically active manner.
Target Sports:
Practise aim, coordination, catching and throwing.
Dance:
Following and choreographing dances.
Football:
Explore control, possession, attack and rules.
Unihoc:
Variant of hockey played with teams of up to 4 players.
