Thank you to all the adults who joined us for our KS1 Father's Day event on Friday! The children had a fantastic time sharing special moments with you. Whether it was completing a scavenger hunt, colouring, playing board games, enjoying football or tennis on the field, or getting creative with nature drawing. It was wonderful to see everyone making the most of the sunshine and enjoying some quality time together. #FathersDayFun #KS1Moments #FamilyTime

Our Year 6 travellers are safely back on the mainland and the next leg of their journey home is underway! They now expect to be arriving back at the Academy at approximately 7:30 p.m. Please remember to keep access to the Academy car park and playground clear when coming to collect them as the coaches will need to park on the playground.

This week, our brilliant Year 6 pupils put their entrepreneurial hats on and dived into a thrilling project to plan, design, advertise, and present their very own theme park ideas. Working in groups, the children created eye-catching slideshows, colourful brochures, imaginative tickets and detailed maps showcasing their creative visions. From aquariums and retirement parks to Bingo halls, childcare centres, VIP hotels, beaches, and even quirky mascots - the variety and innovation on display were outstanding! Each team carefully managed their £5 million budget to bring their dream parks to life. The school hall was buzzing with excitement as the groups presented their projects to visiting teachers and judges. After much deliberation, the judges crowned 'Seashells Seagulls' as the overall winners - a tough choice given the high quality of every group's work. We are incredibly proud of all the children for their creativity, teamwork, and determination throughout the week. Well done, Year 6 - your hard work and enthusiasm have truly shone through! #Collaboration #Fun #Determination
